Mary F. Vivo | Richmond, VA
Mary F. Vivo was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1951. She attended The Cooper Union School of Art and The School of Visual Arts. Vivo has exhibited in solo and group shows including, most recently, the Iridian Gallery and Artworks Exhibitions in Richmond, VA, the 64th Annual Art of Northeast in New Caanan, CT and the Nor’Easter 44th Annual Juried Exhibition at the New Britain Museum of Art in New Britain, CT. Vivo and her art were featured in the March 2014 issue of Hartford Magazine. Her work combines the use of a variety of materials mainly wood, colored pencil, paper, illustration board, markers, clay and paint to create what she calls Housculptures – miniature models of structures and their surroundings. Mary Vivo works from her studio in Richmond, VA.
